About Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is over 120 years old. Developed by F. M. Alexander, it is a mind-body method to help relieve tension and stress, improve the use of the body, and optimize performance. It is taught at institutions such as the drama school at Yale University, Oxford University, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and the Juilliard School.

About Bill Connington

Bill Connington is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, actor, filmmaker, and lecturer in acting at the Yale School of Drama. He is the author of Introduction to the Alexander Technique and Physical Expression on Stage and Screen, and is the editor of Acting Essentials, a theater book series. Bill also specializes in working with people with back pain, and people living with Parkinson’s. He lives in New York.
